We then created a social media campaign that ran the whole season of 2018 where Anniken and Nina dedicated their recipes to the people who helped them grow and become Istid. It wan neighbours, the milkman, and the enthusiasts. And most importantly it was authentic through and through creating a buzz within their community. They also had their best sales year since they started.
The two entrepreneurs, Anniken and Nina, swept Copenhagen’s ice cream enthusiasts off their feet when they opened the doors to Istid almost four years ago. They simply make the most delicious ice cream ever!
They came to us with a few different challenges, and we quickly became their marketing department, helping them with activation ideas, branding and design.
One of their challenges was their lack of product display. Since they literally make your ice cream on demand, they cannot compete with beautiful gelato shops with their decadent heaps of gorgeous ice cream in their storefront. We had to do something else to get people attention. And as their ice creams are only made from products that you can get at your local organic market, we decided to display their ice cream in the format of recipes. What you see is what you get.
